Sophie moved to Bethel in 2025, drawn to the area by the incredible trails and warm, creative community. She works as the Development Manager at Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation, has a master’s degree in soil science, and is passionate about accessibility and sustainability in all their forms. She also serves on the board of SAFE Maine and can usually be found either out for a run or crafting next to the woodstove with her partner and cat.
