Since 2018, Mike and Barbara Murphy, together with a team of dedicated volunteers, have designed and established the Habitat For All Garden at Valentine Farm. Over the seasons and years, they have witnessed how the garden evokes awe and wonder in visitors of all ages, offers habitat for a diversity of insects and wildlife, provides peace and sanctuary amidst our hectic lives, and supplys food for our families and communities. While planting, weeding, creating art and signs, and engaging with visitors, they learned how critical regular contact with "nearby nature" is for ourselves and the planet.
