Erik Janicki

Erik was first introduced to the beauty of Western Maine when he came to Gould Academy for his last year of high school. While attending Colby College, he came back frequently to the area to hike, fish, and ski. Upon graduating from Colby, Erik taught Biology at Gould and managed the school’s farm program. In 2002, Erik moved to teach at a high school in Southeastern New Hampshire.

In 2004 Erik and his wife Meg bought a small home in Bethel. Along with their two daughters, Erik and Meg spend as much time in the Western Maine area as they can. Erik is delighted by the opportunity to serve as a member of the Mahoosuc Land Trust board.
