Emily Whiston
Emily Whiston began her career in science academic research, and earned her PhD from the department of Plant and Microbial Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She has spent the last 10 years in the Maine biotech industry at EnviroLogix, which supplies agriculture quality diagnostic tests globally.
She has broad business experience in research & development, strategic planning, marketing, and operations. With her husband and two kids, Emily splits her time between North Yarmouth, Chebeague Island, and Woodstock, Maine. Weekends find the Whiston family playing nerdy board games and enjoying Maine outdoors - hiking, paddling and downhill skiing (but alas, not gardening).
