Things to do with children at Valentine Farm

Storybook Walk

Enjoy reading a story as you walk the East Loop trail at Valentine Farm on North Road in Bethel. Double your fun by reading and walking in the woods at the same time.

The book changes about every six weeks. The trail begins east of the parking lot and proceeds clockwise along the half-mile loop. The book walk is sponsored by the Bethel Recreation Department, and the stands were made by the Congo Craftsmen.

Please share photos of your adventures along the trail with info@mahoosuc.org.

Fairy Houses

The Society for the Protection of Magical Beings invites you to build a house for the fairies, gnomes, arboleans, and other creatures that call Valentine Farm home. Stop by the garden for your building permit and supplies. There's no limit to what you can build with your imagination.
