Valentine Farm →
This 1.2 mile universally accessible trail has a crushed gravel surface and meanders through woods and fields, offering views of the Androscoggin River, Bethel Community Forest, and the Habitat For All Pollinator Garden. A perfect trail for people of all ages and abilities.
McCoy Chapman Forest →
An out-and-back trail rises to the hills to the north rewarding the hiker with spectacular views of surrounding mountains.
Rumford Whitecap →
Within the Rumford Whitecap Mountain Preserve, two trails lead to the summit.
Glassface Ledges →
This quick and steep, 1.6 mile round-trip hike starts off on a grassy path through the Rumford Center Cemetery then enters a mixed hardwood forest with streams and interesting plant life.
Shelburne Riverlands →
Made up of 880-acres that includes nine mainland parcels and more than 30 islands, extends over an 8.7 mile stretch of the Androscoggin River.
Stewart Family Preserve: Puzzle Mountain →
Serving as the southern terminus on the Eastern half of the difficult Grafton Loop Trail, the Stewart Family Preserve owned by the Mahoosuc Land Trust hosts the backcountry Stewart Campsite.
Step Falls →
The twenty-four-acre Step Falls Preserve includes land on both sides of Wight Brook in Newry, Maine. The brook flows over open ledges and potholes creating numerous pools suitable for wading, swimming, and sunning.

Intervale Gateway →
A gravel footpath borders an 18-acre field that provides a scenic entry into Bethel Village. The Gateway trail connects to the Bethel Pathway and ends at MLT’s Valentine Farm Conservation Center. Total one-way distance approximately 2.5 miles.
Buck's Ledge Community Forest →
The Community Forest encompasses 634 acres, including Buck’s Ledge, Lapham Ledge, and the summit of Moody Mountain.

The Crooked River Headwaters is the fruition of a dream of lifetime conservationists, Mary McFadden and Larry Stifler.
Gilead Landing →
This is a picturesque boat launch on the Androscoggin River in Gilead, Maine. The concrete boat ramp was extended in 2021 to allow continued access during low water conditions.

Newt's Landing is a hand-carry boat launch on the Androscoggin River in West, Bethel, Maine.
Moran's Landing →
Moran's Landing is a concrete boat ramp on the Androscoggin River just below the Bear River Rips in Hanover, Maine.
Flint Mountain Wildlands
MLT's First Forever-Wild Preserve! It started with 295 Acres in 2023, and will grow to 450 acres by the end of 2025. A height-of-the-land location at the headwaters of Flint Brook in Albany Township. The Rapa Nui trail climbs 0.5 mile passing under cliffs and past giant old trees. A future old growth forest awaits with hands-off management.
