Mushrooms 101 with Amanda Moran

Over the course of 4 weeks, we will delve into the mysterious and colorful world of fungi!  With her trademark good humor and expertise, Amanda will walk us through:

• definitions and mushroom lingo
• fungi's uses for so much more than just food
• identification - size, shape, texture
• mushroom family traits
• learning mushrooms specific to western Maine

We will end the course with an identification challenge and a look at spore printing.
