About The Event

Can you tell the tracks of an otter from a fisher? Would you recognize a bobcat hunting bed? Join expert tracker, Dan Gardoqui as we seek out, interpret and follow the tracks and trails of the diverse wildlife species in the Mahoosuc mountain valleys and foothills. We will focus on track identification, trail interpretation, awareness techniques, and the reading of subtle clues that help us better connect with our wild neighbors. Dan Gardoqui is a Registered Maine Guide & Certified Wildlife Tracker with 30 years experience as a nature educator.  With experience tracking, trailing and studying the wide variety of New England wildlife, Dan is a wealth of information. He also brings joy and enthusiasm to his work and is looking forward to glimpsing into the fascinating lives of our fellow mammals. Registration fees support Mahoosuc Land Trust.
