About The Event
Over the course of 4 weeks, we will delve into the mysterious and colorful world of fungi! With her trademark good humor and expertise, Amanda will walk us through:
- definitions and mushroom lingo
- fungi's uses for so much more than just food
- identification - size, shape, texture
- mushroom family traits
- learning mushrooms specific to western Maine
We will end the course with an identification challenge and a look at spore printing.
