About The Event

Join Brittany Schappach, an entomologist with the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, for an educational webinar on jumping worms (Amynthas spp.). Jumping worms are an invasive species that are now widespread in Maine and have the potential to alter our gardens and forests. Topics will include jumping worm biology, identification, history, impacts, and current management strategies in Maine.
