About The Event

A day of practical demonstrations on what it takes to preserve food. Join workshops and learn the basic skills needed to can jams and jellies, make fresh cheese, garlic-based dips and spreads, and sauerkraut. Also, sample wild foods, homemade pasta and sauce made from the tomatoes from the Habiat For All Garden. See how to extend your garden season and turn your flower garden into a pollinator sanctuary. Then, stay for a community potluck at 4:00.
