About The Event
Many of the perennials and woody plants we grow require certain techniques to get their seeds to germinate. In this workshop, we will go over these techniques and then dive into starting our own seeds. This is the time of year to sow seeds that require a cold period. You can take home sown pots of seeds now to overwinter them, or have us do it for you. In the spring we will reconvene to transplant the new seedlings to larger containers for your garden. We will have a selection of seeds to choose from including pollinator plants, perennials and some unusual plants like magnolias.
