Maggie’s Nature Park (11 and up) and Special Kids’ Hike (10 and under)

2 hour hike/snow shoe; poles, water, snacks recommended.

Starts at Maggie’s Parking Lot, Greenwood. Turn right at Mt. Abram sign on Rte. 26, cross RR tracks, turn left onto Greenwood Road and proceed 1.4 miles to parking.

Winter gear, hiking poles recommended.

Home, still under construction, is the 4th passive solar house in Maine.
Meet at land trust parking lot in Bethel at 2pm to carpool to house in Newry.

Meet at parking lot at trail head on East Andover Road, Rumford.
Hot refreshments at the bottom on return!

Easy 2 hour hike; snow shoes may be necessary, appropriate gear, water and snacks.

Meet at parking lot for Round Mt. 6.9 miles on Vernon St. (from Main St., Bethel) bear left at stop sign, travel 1.2 miles on Hunt’s Corner Road to turn out and field on left.
