Mahoosuc Region Resource Report

The Mahoosuc Region Resource Report grew out of the Mahoosuc Initiative, a new partnership in our region between local groups who know and love these lands and communities and regional groups who share our interest in the future of the Mahoosucs and can bring resources to help our communities gain control over the future.

The Mahoosuc Region Resource Report seeks to inform community dialogue in this time of transition. Volume I of the report looks at shifts in the regional economy, land use and demographics that are driving change and also key resources in the Mahoosucs, from timber and water to wildlife and recreational opportunities. Volume II contains a toolbox of strategies for economic development, land conservation and stewardship among other action steps that Mahoosuc communities can take to manage change for community benefit.
